Intended use

Dive Brief is for planning, briefing, and debriefing real dives with your team. Plan content, attachments, and invitations must relate to an actual dive being organized through the product.

Not permitted

  • Uploading content you do not have the right to share (see our Attachment & Copyright Policy).
  • Using guest invitation links or acknowledgment records to misrepresent who reviewed or approved a plan.
  • Attempting to access another organization's plans, attachments, or participant data without authorization.
  • Automated scraping, load-testing, or bulk account creation without prior written permission.
  • Uploading malware or content intended to disrupt the service for other users.

Safety-related content

Dive Brief organizes information entered by your team; it does not verify dive plans, calculate decompression or gas limits, or judge whether a diver or dive is safe. Nothing in the product should be represented to others as a safety certification or approval.

Enforcement

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate this policy. Organization owners are responsible for their members' compliance with it.
