Your responsibility for uploads

You are responsible for every file you attach to a plan — maps, permits, charter documents, weather screenshots, and anything else. By uploading a file, you confirm you have the right to share it with your team through Dive Brief. Sparks Simple does not review attachments before they are stored.

Who can see an attachment

Attachments follow the same visibility as the plan they belong to — private, organization-visible, or shared with specific invited participants. They are never exposed through a public link without your explicit action.

Copyright concerns

If you believe an attachment stored in Dive Brief infringes your copyright, contact Sparks Simple through the contact details on our website with (1) identification of the work you believe is infringed, (2) the specific plan or attachment in question, and (3) your contact information. We will investigate and remove infringing content where appropriate.

File types and limits

Attachments are limited by file size and accepted file type, enforced at upload time. Uploading executable files or content intended to exploit the file-viewing systems of other users is prohibited under our Acceptable Use Policy.
