Shore dives carry planning details a boat template doesn't need -- how the team actually gets to the water, where to park, and what the entry and exit look like at today's tide and surf. This template covers those specifically.
Access and logistics
- Parking location and any access restrictions or permits needed
- Walking distance and terrain from parking to the entry point
- Entry point description -- surf, rocks, sand, current at the entry
- Exit point, if different from the entry point
- Nearest road access for emergency vehicles

- Surf and surge at entry/exit
- Tide timing relative to your planned dive window
- Longshore current
